Pterostilbene is a methylated stilbenoid molecule structurally similar to the more commonly known stilbenoid resveratrol, the only difference being two methoxy groups on the pterostilbene molecule that replace hydroxyl groups on the resveratrol molecule. While the effects of resveratrol and pterostilbene are similar, studies suggest pterostilbene may enjoy better bioavailability and bloodstream absorption following oral ingestion and may be a more potent antioxidant molecule and sirtuin activator.

I’ve used resveratrol for years! My friend told me I would like this since it’s like resveratrol but more potent. I’m on day 5 and am not disappointed!

I’ve always tried to get my resveratrol through wine but I realized that the amount was actually a small amount compared to what I could be getting through a supplement. Then I realized that pterostilbene, another polyphenol, is lost in the winemaking process. So here I am taking pterostilbene and after a couple weeks I’m feeling more energized and happier I can’t wait to see if there will be any other improvements!
