Toss kale, bananas, almonds, spinach, coconut milk, cashews, and almond milk in a blender. Blend the mixture until everything is well mixed. Now add cacao, cinnamon, and CBD into the mixture. Continue to blend the mixture for a further 10 to 15 seconds.

The Bioavailability of CBD
Before CBD can get to work, it first has to reach the bloodstream. There are many natural barriers that systematically flush out CBD from the system. The most popular form of consuming CBD is oral.
The journey of a capsule is not ideal if you are particularly concerned with high CBD efficacy. Capsules are broken down and dissected by the body’s digestive system. Then, the absorbed CBD goes through the liver, which may metabolize a large percentage of CBD out of the system. This suggests only 20% of the CBD that’s ingested could potentially give real benefits.

Research has shown that CBD is also metabolized via the CYP450 enzymes, resulting in reduced ability to metabolize other drugs.
If someone is using blood thinners like Coumadin or warfarin, CBD slows their metabolism. This increases the amount of medication in the body, which can very quickly prove to be toxic, causing traumatic bleeding, life-threatening hemorrhage, and other dangerous problems.
If CBD is taken along with benzodiazepines like Ativan and Xanax, it can increase their side effects and cause one to enter into a state of drowsiness.
This is why it is important to consult your doctor if you are on medications. By inhibiting crucial enzymes, CBD will allow more drugs to stay in the system. Your doctor will readjust your dosage requirements for these drugs to ensure better compatibility with CBD.
It’s not a good idea to mix medications and CBD without consulting a doctor first.
